Trying to draw more. I really like the idea of imagining someone “real”.  Taking notes of people’s faces while I’m in the world and recalling those things while I’m in the drawing. It’s like an immediate nostalgia. Although the fake people kind’ve represent an invented nostalgia.

Ran into an old friend. :)

I was fortunate enough to run into Inka Essenhigh, a mentor and friend in Chicago on accident. It was a real pleasure. Looking forward to her show at Kavi Gupta.

Scanning in pages from old notebooks. Some of these are in a show at the Harrison Center Underground Gallery this month in Indianapolis. :) Most of them were done jacked on coffee.
